Happy Birthday to...the USA!

As is our family tradition, we headed up to the cabin on Friday to celebrate the 4th of July. Since there are only so many days off each year, our family definitely made the most of the day. With over 30 kids and adults present, we participated in almost every activity known to man--we kicked off the morning with a parade (producer's note: pay special attention to what Aunt Sue does to Todd as he approaches the truck during the parade!), and headed back to the cabin for board games, bocce ball, and target practice with bb guns. After a quick snack break, we headed out for a hike and rock climbing, ended that hike with some 2 on 2 basketball, and used up the remaining daylight with a family game of wiffle ball. We concluded the evening with an awesome fireworks show put on by Uncle Ken and the Indian Hills Fire Department. There is nothing better than hearing the booms echo and roll through the mountains. Here is a video of ALL of our adventures...
