We spent another great Friday afternoon at this year's Stock Show. This was Landon's first year, so it was fun introducing him to all the animals. The kids rode ponies, spun their own yarn, and hung out in the petting zoo. Landon was a little scared at first, but he quickly warmed up and had a great time trying to feed the animals. The highlight of our afternoon was meeting Charles the cowboy. We were heading home, when Charles walked by and offered the kids a ride on his cart. They happily said yes and he took them to the stall with his horse. He told them they had to work for their ride, so he had them pet his horse "Rough Around The Edges" and move gear from one stall to another. It was awesome, the kids absolutely loved it. I took some video, check out the smile on Payton's face! We love this family tradition!

Wow. That was really a very gracious "cowboy: who worked with Payton and Brady. He must be an Opa too! Looks like you had a great time.
