The Good Old Daze...

I wasted a lot of time last night playing around with a website called Yearbook Yourself. Wes would have looked really good with a mullet don't you think?!

Happy Fourth!

Yesterday we celebrated the 4th with our traditional trek up to the cabin. We enjoyed our regular traditions...the parade, bbq, games, and fireworks. The major difference was the weather. It was cold, rainy, and around 50 degrees by the time we listened to the fireworks echoing through the mountains. We had a great day, we just had to be a little more bundled up than usual!

Brady rode in the parade for the first time.

Bundled up for the fireworks!

Feliz Cumpleanos

I celebrated my 32nd birthday this year with a four hour plane ride home from Cancun. Definitely depressing (coming home from Cancun, not that it was my birthday!), but there were a few highlights...
1) The pilot of our plane asked if Payton wanted to sit in the cockpit before we took off. She was a little shy, so I got to come along for the ride. I think I thought it was cooler than my daughter did!
2) When we finally got back to our house, Wes's mom and Gwen and Tim had some balloons, gifts, and some of my favorite-ice cream cake-waiting. Thanks for making the end of our trip a little sweeter :).
A few days later, we had a party at my parents house. Thanks everyone for a great birthday!

Best Week Ever

Our family just returned from a 10 day trip to Cancun. My parents were able to use their time share and reserved two suites on the main floor looking right out at the ocean. We had an absolute blast...and took around 500 pictures to prove it! The video is super long...around 20 minutes. There were just so many fun memories I had to include: swimming, snorkeling, happy hour, and relaxing and laughing with the family. We wish we could make this trip every year, but we'll start looking forward to our next trip three years from now. Brad and Jayne, we miss you already!
