On Friday, Payton officially completed her school year as a kindergartner with a walk to the park, water fights, and a picnic lunch. On Thursday night, we went to her graduation ceremony. (She has now graduated from preschool and kindergarten...will this continue every year until the 12th grade?)
The class chose their own song to march in to (very fitting), and each student had to memorize a line corresponding with the letter of the alphabet. Payton did a great job with the letter D! They also sang songs and recited poems demonstrating everything that they learned this year.

Payton is standing next to Brody...if you have heard any of Payton's stories, this is one of her favorite boys in the class...the one she kissed on the cheek!

Congratulations PR. We are so proud of you! It was awesome to watch you blossom throughout the year. From quiet and shy to reciting lines in the microphone, from clinging to me in line before school to running boldly into the classroom, from barely writing your letters to reading entire books. We love you, and look forward to what first grade will bring. But, let's enjoy summer first!
