Now that it's almost Thanksgiving, I figured it was time to blog about our 2013 Halloween! We started our celebrating early in the week with dinner and pumpkin carving at Mark and Abby's house. Abby made an awesome lasagna dinner. The adults ate in the dining room, and the kids got to sit at this spooky table! Abby made super cute gift bags for each kid, and she had some fun games for them to play after dinner.

After our delicious dinner, it was time to carve pumpkins!

Payton carved her pumpkin all by herself. She made a make believe land with all different kinds of shapes.
I helped Brady make a Notre Dame pumpkin, but the N was perfect for Nolan.

We tried to snap a few with the kids as well. Not so successful. :)
After pumpkins, we had just enough time for some spider cookies for dessert!

On the morning of Halloween, the Science Teachers at Arapahoe all dressed as the cast of the Big Bang Theory. We had so much fun acting like our characters all day, and the kids loved it!

On Halloween night, the kids got ready for some trick or treating. Brad, Jayne, Cohen, and Arie joined us, along with some neighbors.

After an hour or so of trick or treating, we headed over--as is tradition--to Oma and Opa's house for some dinner with the cousins.

I didn't get a picture of them, but my mom and dad also dressed up as a witch and the Pillsbury Dough Boy. So fun! What a great week!

Yay! Love that you have a little extra time to blog again! :) Thanks for coming over to carve pumpkins. We had such a fun time! (As witnessed by Nolan's CHEESEY smiles in your pics! Ha!) And we always love meeting up with you on Halloween to see all the kids in their costumes together!
