The Elephant Rock...or...Three Men In Spandex.

Wes, Mark, and my dad completed a 62 mile bike ride yesterday called the Elephant Rock! They had a great time and were all still able to walk afterwards. Not to mention, looking quite svelte in their tight outfits! Posting these pics made me think of a prior pic and post...these guys sure do enjoy unique and interesting poses :)

Happy Birthday Payton!

We celebrated Payton's 5th Birthday over Memorial Day Weekend with a party at the cabin. Here is a very tardy video of her day!

Memorial Day 2009

Some pics from this year's Memorial Day Celebration...

The weekend began with what was supposed to be our 2nd Annual Camping Trip to the Lone Duck Campground. After 12 straight hours of pouring rain, the trip was cut short.

We woke up hoping our night in the rain would bring a clear and sunny day. What we got was puddles, puddles, puddles. So, we packed up the tent.
Well, actually we shoved the sopping muddy mess into the back of our car!
The kids were not exactly thrilled.
So instead, we headed off for a family slumber party at the cabin...

We made smores...
Played Uno Attack...
And Ping-Pong.
In the morning we cooked breakfast...

And ate it!
We went hiking...
And played horseshoes...
And played on the swingsets...
All in all, it was a great weekend!

The Newest Baritone In The Choir...

Brady's vocal debut...the first words to the first song: "my silly sock has pizza, bananas and a little fish" This is his favorite song on Little Einsteins. You will definitely know the second one.

The Graduate

Today Payton graduated from preschool. It's hard to believe that she is about to turn five and head to kindergarten in the fall...Payton, we are so proud of you. We love your creativity, your kind spirit, and your passion for life. I know that in the blink of an eye, we will be taking these same pictures as you graduate from high school and head off to college. We can't wait to see all that you achieve, but we will enjoy and experience each milestone along the way. We love you (and are especially glad you FINALLY made it through a program without falling off the risers!)
